Hello, and thank you for stopping by The Patch! Located in Mobile, Alabama. We are a preschool dedicated to providing the supportive and caring environment your child needs to prepare for kindergarten. Our hands-on and well-rounded academic curriculum fosters an early love for learning and also prepares children for their transition into kindergarten.
Each day our teachers focus on four main areas of development; physical development, social and emotional development, language development and thinking (cognitive) skills. In doing this all of our children participates in circle time, science, math, pre writing and writing, phonics, music, movement, art and dramatic play.. In addition to an academic schedule for our preschoolers, we also work on being kind to our friends, sharing, how to compromise, how to express themselves and how to problem solve. Here, at The Watermelon Patch, we are not just a preschool or a daycare - we are a family.
